Where the name comes from

Helena comes from the Greek Helenē - its deepest origin is debated, with some scholars linking it to a Greek root for 'torch' or 'light,' though no single explanation is universally accepted.

Why this moment matters

An afternoon hammock nap has a rhythm all its own, and it tends to produce the deepest, most peaceful naps of the day.

The story behind this song

The afternoon hammock rocks her slowly to sleep, the whole garden humming quietly around her.

A bedtime song with a name in it

A slow lullaby built around one child's name: a good night song for bedtime, nap time and the last song of the day.
