Personalize this songWhere the name comes from
Diego's history is a little tangled - most name historians trace it back through Santiago to the Hebrew Ya'akov (James/Jacob), though the exact path by which Diego branched off is still debated.
Why this moment matters
The sound of the sea doing the same thing it's always done is exactly the kind of steadiness that helps a small person let go and sleep.
The story behind this song
The sea keeps turning over outside the window, steady enough to carry him under before the tide even changes.
A bedtime song with a name in it
A slow lullaby built around one child's name: a good night song for bedtime, nap time and the last song of the day.
