Where the name comes from

Leon is a variant of Leo, from the Latin leo, 'lion' - widely used across German-speaking Europe both as a full name and historically as a short form of names like Leonard.

Why this moment matters

Snow lit up by a single streetlamp is one of those ordinary winter sights that looks, for just a moment, like it was staged for a photograph.

The story behind this song

Snow drifts down past the streetlamp outside, each flake catching the light for just a moment before it's gone.

A bedtime song with a name in it

A slow lullaby built around one child's name: a good night song for bedtime, nap time and the last song of the day.
