Where the name comes from

Maria traces back to the Hebrew Miriam, one of the oldest and most widespread names in the world - but its original meaning is genuinely uncertain, with 'beloved,' 'wished-for child' and 'bitterness' all proposed by different scholars over the centuries.

Why this moment matters

The same walk to the same park, over and over, is somehow never the same walk twice to a small child - and that repetition is half the point.

The story behind this song

Green shoes, a wagon pulled by grandma, and the ducks waiting by the water - the same park trip, and it never gets old.

A song with a big sister or big brother

A big sister or big brother joins in here, so it works as a sibling song the whole family can sing.
