Where the name comes from

Dawson comes from a surname usually read as 'son of Daw', Daw being a medieval pet form of David.

Why this moment matters

A sled ride is a few seconds of speed after a long climb, and the family cheering at the bottom makes it worth every step back up.

The story behind this song

Dawson pulls his sled up the snowy hill with Mommy and Daddy, sits down, holds tight and on the count of three whooshes down past every tree.

A winter song for baby's first Christmas
