Where the name comes from

Isla is generally traced to Scotland - either the River Isla or the Isle of Islay - rather than from the similar-looking Spanish word for 'island,' which is a coincidence of spelling rather than a shared origin.

Why this moment matters

A cat that stays exactly one step ahead is basically training a toddler in patience, whether either of them realizes it.

The story behind this song

Round and round the kitchen table she goes after the cat, who stays exactly one step ahead the entire time.
