Where the name comes from

Emmett comes from a medieval pet form of Emma, which passed into use by way of a surname.

Why this moment matters

Throwing a pebble in a pond is cause and effect at its most satisfying - one throw, one splash, ripples spreading every time.

The story behind this song

Emmett stands by the duck pond, picks up a smooth round pebble, swings and lets it fly, and watches it plop and send rings across the water.
