Where the name comes from

Aspen is a modern name taken from the aspen tree - one of the nature names that has become popular in recent decades.

Why this moment matters

Pressing the blender button is a big, noisy moment of control for a toddler, and the colour change from fruit to purple drink feels a bit like magic.

The story behind this song

Aspen drops blueberries, banana, milk and yogurt into the blender, and while Mommy holds the lid, presses the button to whirl it all into a purple smoothie.
