Where the name comes from

Kayla is a modern invention, possibly based on Kay or Michaela.

Why this moment matters

Scooping out a pumpkin is gloriously messy work that toddlers love - and the slimy seeds are the best part.

The story behind this song

Kayla sits with Daddy at a big orange pumpkin, pops off the lid and scoops out the squishy seeds into a bowl while Daddy draws a smiley face.
