Where the name comes from

Avery is usually traced to the Old English Ælfred and glossed as 'elf counsel', reaching modern use by way of a surname.

Why this moment matters

Building a sundae is a list of small decisions a toddler gets to make alone, and putting the cherry on top is the moment they will remember.

The story behind this song

The family builds ice cream sundaes together - Avery picks pink and chocolate scoops, shakes on sprinkles, Grandma adds the cream and Avery crowns it with a cherry.
