Where the name comes from

Arlo is usually traced to Edmund Spenser, who used it as the name of a hill in The Faerie Queene - a literary origin rather than an old personal name.

Why this moment matters

Stirring soup with a wooden spoon - at a safe distance, with a grandparent close by - is a slow, warm kitchen job that makes a toddler feel trusted.

The story behind this song

Arlo and Grandpa stand at the stove with a big pot of vegetable soup, dropping in carrots, celery and potatoes and stirring while it bubbles.
